In Santa Monica Beach found the Giant Squid that measure about 160 feet long from head to tentacle tip. The said photo was reportedly a photo captured by an identified netizen who is responsible of posting the image of the Giant Squid into various social networking sites and social media causing the photo becomes viral.
The common scientific speculation was believed that the certain radioactive is responsible of making the squid become a giant creature.
“Scientists believe that following the 2011 disaster at the Fukushima Dai-ichi Nuclear Power Plant an unknown number of sea creatures suffered genetic mutations that triggered uncontrolled growth – or ‘radioactive gigantism’.”
On the other hand, the National Geographic claimed citing the Giant Squid that the photo is not genuine but a hoax and measure only 43 feet that is equivalent into 12 meters long which makes the report far beyond to what is claimed about 160 feet or equivalent into 49 meters from head to tentacle tip of the said Giant Squid.
According to the reports, authorities had been found the exact location to substantiate the existence of the Giant Squid but there was no information revealed from the investigation of the said Giant Squid in the beach of Santa Monica.
Because of the divided sources of information, there were different opinions and various assumptions from the netizens and blogging reports circulating on the internet. Some claimed that the photo of the Giant Squid was a product of a Photoshop expert while some claimed that it is genuine based on scientific explanation.
