While it’s not unusual for pet parents to do over-the-top things for their beloved fur babies, this is truly a story that stands out from the rest.
A cat lover extraordinaire named Greg Krueger has created a playground inside his home for his beloved pets. Krueger has spent the last 15 years of his life renovating his home to have intricate passageways, tunnels and hideouts around every corner. “I just love trails and paths, and cats, of course,” Krueger says in the video. “And so I’ve just linked those passions together.”
Krueger was diagnosed with Asperger Syndrome at the late age of 49, but he credits his form of autism with letting him focus on what he loves most. He recognizes that he would have never created the wonderland if it weren’t for his condition. “It’s been said that all cats have Asperger Syndrome,” he said. “So I think that might be one reason why I really love cats is that I kind of think that I can understand their personality really well.”
While having a cat paradise in the home may not be your idea of a good time, you have to admire his dedication and love for his pets. His accomplishment is truly astounding!
